Mary Humphries

Mary joined ForestEthics in 2011, having fundraised for non-profit conservation and education organizations for more than two decades. Prior to joining ForestEthics, she served as the Executive Director of College Advancement at Bellingham Technical College where she played a pivotal role in both College fundraising and marketing/communications. Previous to her work with the college, Mary was a private fundraising consultant, her practice was the natural outgrowth of three years spent working as a Senior Fundraising Associate with Training Resources for the Environmental Community where she had the privilege of interacting with many of the environmental community's outstanding groups, leaders and fundraising champions. 

Mary is passionate about protecting wilderness and wildlife thanks to her upbringing in British Columbia. She has one daughter, a stepson and three wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, running and quiet contemplation at her rustic cabin on San Juan Island.
