Letter to Canadian National (CN) Railway regarding proposed "Pipeline on Rails" project
February 14th, 2011Canadian National (CN) Railway has proposed a project dubbed "Pipeline on Rails" to bring Tar Sands crude to the port of Prince Rupert. This response to the proposal has been signed by 14 groups and faxed/mailed to the designated reps at CN.
The result of CN’s proposal would be the introduction of oil tankers to the coast of British Colubmia. The opposition to oil tankers on BC's Coast remains strong whether the port is out of Prince Rupert or Kitimat (where Enbridge's proposed Northern Gateway pipeline would end).
