As I understand it, then, Chiquita has not changed its adoption of “a strategy of continuous improvement towards the elimination of (tar sands) fuels.”  Is that correct?  And is it also correct that Chiquita’s cooperation with Forest Ethics continues?

Yes, that is correct. I would say that our focus globally is avoiding carbon intensive fuel supplies wherever possible. Thus it is about the attributes of the fuel, not where it may come from, and wherever possible, we have encouraged our suppliers to source various fuel sources that have a lower carbon footprint.
