CBC Radio -- All Points West Interview
January 19th, 2011
Listen to Tracy and Mike, victims of the BP gulf spill, share their painful stories of living through an oil spill on CBC's "All Points West" radio program:
This interview aired one day prior to their emotionally-stirring presentation to a packed room of 200 people at
the ForestEthics event, "When Oil Meets Water." At the event, Tracy and Mike's story about coping with the BP oil spill was a cautionary tale to help BC prepare for the oil
threats facing their own communities. Other speakers also joined Tracy,
including one harmed by Enbridge’s pipeline spill on the Kalamazoo
River, and another affected by the sinking of BC Ferries’ Queen of the
North in Hartley Bay.
