Dole Bananas: Brought to you by dirty Tar Sands oil

UPDATE: ForestEthics supporters went bananas on Dole's Facebook page, now the company has responded. Dole claims its trucks don't use fuel from Tar Sands refineries. But they are wrong. Fuel in certain states, from Ohio to Oregon, comes from at least one Tar Sands refinery. These refineries expose poor communities to health-threatening air pollution.

Share this Tar Sands refinery map with Dole to make sure it knows: data is available to help it avoid Tar Sands fuel.
